High Cart Abandonment & an Unscalable E-commerce Setup

Sepit was facing a high cart abandonment rate caused by a complicated and unclear cart-to-checkout flow. Users found it difficult to complete purchases, which directly affected overall conversion performance.

In addition, the existing infrastructure was not optimized for speed or concurrent traffic. Slow load times and limited hosting capabilities created performance bottlenecks, making it risky for Sepit to scale marketing efforts or handle higher traffic volumes confidently.

Rebuilding the Funnel for Conversion, Speed & Stability

We built Sepit’s e-commerce website from the ground up with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO). This included redesigning the cart and checkout flow to be clearer, more intuitive, and friction-free, guiding users smoothly from product selection to purchase.

To support scalability and performance, we optimized page speed and migrated the platform from shared hosting to a VPS environment. This ensured better traffic handling, improved stability, and a faster experience across the entire site, especially during peak usage.

Results

Lower Abandonment, Higher Conversion & Faster Performance

Following the improvements, Sepit achieved a 18–25% reduction in cart abandonment rate after simplifying the cart and checkout experience. Overall conversion rate improved by 20–30%, driven by clearer layouts, stronger CTAs, and better product clarity.

Page load time was also reduced from 5–6 seconds to under 2.5 seconds, significantly improving user experience and performance reliability. With a faster, more stable platform in place, Sepit now has a solid foundation to scale traffic and sales with confidence.
